Clarence J. Kaiser, 85, passed away at 1:45 pm on Friday, March 11, 2022 at Gentle Care Nursing Home. Clarence was born on November 9, 1936 in Vincennes and was the son of Clarence E. and Magdalena (Bauer) Kaiser.

Clarence was a self employed farmer for many years and a member of St. John's Catholic Church where he had been a past member of the parish council finance committee. Clarence also served his country as a member of the National Guard and was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion.

Survivors include his wife, Christine (Jenkins) Kaiser of Vincennes whom he married on November 12, 1972; sister, Marie Biggs and her husband Don of Vincennes; brother, George Kaiser of Vincennes; sister-in-law, Cricket Kaiser of Vincennes brother-in-law, John Hoffman of Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews.

Clarence is preceded by his parents, sisters, Clara Hoffman, Anna Harmon, brother, Charles Kaiser, sister-in-law, Rose Mary Kaiser, and brother-in-law, Bob Harmon.

Friends may visit with Clarence's family from 9-11 am on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at St. John's Catholic Church, 803 Main St., Vincennes, IN 47591. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am con-celebrated by Rev. Tony Ernst, Rev. Gary Kaiser, and Rev. Ken Walker. Clarence will be laid to rest in Mt. Calvary Cemetery
