Mary Lee Trivette Sizemore, 63, of Appalachia, VA, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born May 13, 1958 to the late Willie and Effie Mae Trivette. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six siblings, Mirl Trivette, Clyde Trivette, Irene Anderson, Houston Trivette, Darlene Barlow, and Richard Trivette, her father and mother-in-law, Robert and Nancy Sizemore, a special nephew, Gary Simerly, two sisters- in-law, Delores Kegley, Janet Addington, and a brother-in-law, Buddy Sizemore.

Mary loved her church, Sarepta Missionary Baptist, in Blackwater, VA, where she was a very important part. She greatly enjoyed playing her guitar and singing, and was very good at it. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Mary was an avid outdoorswoman, loving to hunt and spend time outside with her husband and family. She was also a huge University of Tennessee football fan and always loved a good trip on her motorcycle.

Mary is survived by her husband of 21 years, Bruce Sizemore; her three children, Jason Hiter and wife, Chandra, of Niles, MI, Scotty Hiter and wife Yvonne, of Blackwater, VA, and Jessica Hiter, of Frederick, MD; seven grandchildren, Alexandra, Ashton, Gage, Salem and Ezra Hiter, Rahni and Paul Huff; four siblings, Joyce Mandler, Allen Trivette, MIldred Sobotka and Robin Roberts; two step-children, Ty Sizemore and wife Shauna, and Tiffany Rodriguez; five step-grandchildren, Gavin and wife Kristen, Tylee, and Manson Sizemore, Iesha and Maleigha Rodriguez; step-great-granddaughter, Karter Mae Sizemore; two sisters-in-law, Lannis Zirkle and Patsy Snodgrass; a close dear friend, Toby Keller; and many loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11 until 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, at Robinette Funeral Home in Jonesville. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Glen Hurd officiating.

Graveside services will follow in Powell Valley Cemetery in Big Stone Gap, VA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to help with final expenses.
