Shirley (Larson) Sturm, beloved aunt and cousin passed away Dec 14, 2007 at William Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay, Fla., following a massive heart attack. Shirley was born in Minneapolis, on July 12,1926 to Walter and Laville Larson. She was the eldest of three sisters. She lived most of her young life in Duluth. Shirley married Gordon Sturm in 1948 and was the proud mother of Gregory Sturm. Shirley and Gordon lived in Duluth for many years and moved to Palm Bay, Fla., in 1980. She enjoyed life in sunny Florida and loved living among her many close friends there. She and Gordon enjoyed traveling and visiting with friends. Shirley was an active member of Palm Bay United Methodist Church in Florida. Preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gordon; son, Greg; and sisters, Judith and Audrey. Shirley is survived by cousins, Lowell (Susan) Swanson and Joanne (Bob) Larson, nieces, Margaret (Mark) Foss, Sheila (Noel) Hill, Alison Hull; and nephews, Marc (Gwyn) Curran and Jeffrey Larsen.
