The Douglas Register has John's birth as "20 Jan 1772 / bapt 22 Apr 1772", in Goochland Co. In son Nathan Haden's Bible, his birth is said to be 25 Jan 1769. However, the Bible of Jack Jouett has this John Haden born on 28 Jan 1772. John's birth date most likely occurred in Jan 1772, when accounting for the time frame available between his birth date and his sibling's birth dates, with Jan 1772, providing a greater window. The birth year that was/is said to be on his stone of 1769, does not match either of these two other birth records. When considering the pattern of baptism dates of Anthony's & Drucilla's children, they occur within months of children's births, not years.
1784 - 1788; he left Fluvanna County VA for Campbell County VA with his father Anthony and his 2nd or 3rd wife, as his father's 2nd wife died in 1786 and ANthony had remarried in 1787.
12 Jan 1793; in Campbell Co VA, he married Rachel Reynolds - d/o Isaac Reynolds. "Marriage Bonds of Campbell County, Virginia", page 822. Campbell County, Virginia Marriage Book, 1, p. 70; Signed by John Haden and Samuel Terrell.
