German printing business owner, who helped save the lives of many Jewish inhabitants of Berlin. Together with his daughter Hanni Nörper, neé Görner, he sheltered his Jewish employees from the Nazi persecution in his printing business (Druckerei Görner). In 1959 he was one of the first Germans to be recognized at the Yad Vashem Memorial in Israel as "Rightous among the Poeples".
