Frances Brouelette Beever made her journey to be with God on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008, at Community Medical Center's Hilda Room.
She was born Oct. 2, 1917, to Robert and Flossie Curran in Stevensville.
The family moved to Missoula in 1930. Fran graduated form Missoula County High School in 1935.
She married Walter Brouelette Feb. 24, 1938. Two children were born to them, Barbara and Jim.
Fran devoted her life to her family and many close friends. She loved the outdoors. In her later years, she grew roses and tomatoes, even though she was blinded by macular degeneration in 1997.
Her husband, Wally, died in 1977.
Fran met Bill Beever from Miles City and they married in 1979. Bill died in 1997.
Also preceding her was her sister, Marie.
Survivors are Barbara (Skip) Weishaar and Jim Brouelette of Missoula; a stepdaughter, Billie Lou Walker of Kinsey; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and great-step-grandchildren; brother Jim Curran and his family; and a sister, Edna Elwell of Seattle and her son; and the family of her sister, Marie.
At Fran's request, there will be no services. Her ashes will be placed beside Wally in the spring.
