Kenneth Lynn Bennett was born April 15, 1941, in Fredonia, Kansas the son of Ralph Bennett and Erna Mae (Lacy) Bennett. He attended Altamont High School in Altamont, Kansas.
On October 9, 1965, in Derby, Kansas he was united in marriage to Joyce Nirschl, and she survives at the home.
Kenneth was a draftsman in his earlier years for Triad in Neodesha, Kansas. While he was at Triad, he helped draw up the plans for Arrowhead and Kaufman Stadiums in Kansas City, Missouri.
He retired from the Kansas Army Ammunition Plant in Parsons in 2007 as a pipefitter/millwright after 30 plus years.
Kenneth enjoyed fishing, mowing yards and jigsaw puzzles. He was an amazing carpenter and could fix anything.
He attended the Hazeldell Southern Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce of the home, mother, Erna Bennett of Independence, Kansas, sons, Randall (Elkie) Bennett and Gregory Bennett both of Cherryvale, siblings, Jackie Lindquist of Cherryvale, Kansas, Raymond Bennett of Quenemo, Kansas, sister-in-law, Mary Bennett of Ozark, Missouri, grandson, Nicholas (Diane) Bennett, 2 great grandchildren, Shelby Elizabeth Bennett, Aubrianna Bennett, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, brother, Charles Bennett, sister, Sharon Bennett .and sister-in-law, Marie
