ALBERT SANDERS BURIED IN HIGHLAND CEMETERY

Albert passed away at Hastings Hospital on Oct. 26 as a result of a broken hip. Up until this time his health appeared to be excellent.

Mr. Sanders was born on November 23, 1869, in Gage County, Nebraska. He went to Hastings 35 years ago from Esbon, Kansas. He was a carpenter before he retired.

Mr. and Mrs. Sanders commenced housekeeping on what was known as the Horton farm near Adams. Albert and John Sanders were brothers and Elizabeth and the late Lulu Sanders were sisters.

Among Mr. Sanders' possessions are many Indian relics collected by his father, an Indian Scout and Civil War Veteran.

Funeral services were held in Hastings. Following cremation, the ashes were brought to Adams and buried with his mother and father in the Sanders plot at Highland Cemetery.
