Peter Francis Churchill, at the age of 68, of Overland Park, KS, passed away on February 19th, in Olathe, KS.

Peter was born in Wichita, Kansas to Robert and Peggy Churchill on August 13, 1953. He graduated from Los Amigos Highschool, in Fountain Valley, Ca., class of '71. He then joined the Navy and proudly served his country. He worked in the construction industry, starting out running dirt equipment. He later became a union crane operator and worked all over our country on various types of projects. He retired as a tower crane operator in Las Vegas, Nevada. He helped build several of the famous hotels on the strip. He finished his career with an exemplary safety record with no accidents or injuries to coworkers while he was operating a crane, in which he was very proud of this accomplishment.

He thoroughly enjoyed building and creating anything and everything imaginable. He loved legos, puzzles, woodworking, country music, baseball, dogs, and his family, just to name a few.

Peter is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Peggy Churchill.

Peter is survived by his three children, Peter Jr. (Michelle) Churchill of Kansas City, KS, Sheila (Troy) Reichle of Lenexa, KS, Danielle (Sergio) Perez of Elk Grove, CA. Peter's seven siblings, Rick Churchill, Steve Churchill, Bill (Lois) Churchill, Ed (Terre) Churchill, Don Churchill, Ann (Casey) Murphy, Nancy Churchill. Peter's six grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Aubrey, Aiden, Ethan, Ella, Emma. As well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Service
A memorial service will be held at 11am on Monday, March 14th, 2022, at Mariposa Gardens in Mesa, Arizona.
