Wanda Babin Matthews, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022 at the age of 65. She was a resident of St. Amant, LA.
She is survived by her husband, Troy Matthews; daughter, Misty Malbrough; sons, Mikel Crawford and wife Tracie, and Christopher Shoeman and wife Brandy; brothers, Mark Babin Sr. and wife Dee, Wendell Babin and wife Tona and Gregory Babin; grandchildren, Kaleigh and husband Chris, Matthew, Kandace, Sarah, Ethan, Parker, Josh, and Abby; great grandchildren, Masyn and Colt.
She was preceded in death by, her parents, Aubrey and Beulah Brown Babin; Mothers-in-law, Alice Faye Carter and Elizabeth Crawford "Boots" and son-in-law, Marc Malbrough.
Visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 from 5pm-8pm. And will resume on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 9 am with funeral service at 11 am at First Baptist Church of Head of Island. Final resting place for Wanda will be in the church cemetery.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Mark Babin Sr., Greg Babin, Matthew Matherne, Ethan Crawford, Parker Crawford, and Michael Vannapha.
