She was the daughter of the late Charles and Mildred Holden and was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul R. Estes Sr. and siblings, Helen, Clara Ann, Larry and Bobby.
Charlene retired from teaching after 42 years. She was a faithful woman, who loved the Lord and was always generous in caring for others.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Paul R. Estes Jr. and Melba; grandchildren, Stephanie and Casey Tallent and Paul R. Estes III; great-grandchildren, Bella, Callie and Landon; siblings, Shirley and Bill Feverston and Chuck and Linda Holden; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Noon on Thursday at Love Funeral Home. Burial will follow at West Hill Cemetery.
