Emma Louise Arnaud Thomas, (known as Emma Lou) born on December 23, 1941, in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she passed away of natural causes in the comfort of her home. Emma was baptized at an early age where she accepted the Lord into the Catholic faith at St. Raymond Catholic Church. She became a faithful member of the Corpus Christi Catholic Church until her health failed. She was empl0yed with the Louisiana Super Dome and later retired from the Greyhound Bus Station.

Emma Lou Leaves precious memories to be cherished forever by her loving son John D. Thomas, Sr. (Rachelle), daughter-in-law Yolonda Thomas, Grandchildren Ashley (Michael) Rutland; Joseph C. Thomas, Jr. and John D. Thomas, Jr.; Great-Grand Children Khloe', Kennedy, and Kami. Siblings, Carolyn (Darryl) Hithe, Carrol Arnaud, Lerna Arnaud, Roland Arnaud, Eric (Jo Ann) Arnaud; a host of nieces, nephews and friends turned family.

Emma Lou is preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband Morris Thomas and Son Joseph Calice Thomas, Sr. Parents William
Ellis and Leora Collins Arnaud. Five sibling, Winifred Paylor, Ronald Arnaud, Cecelia James, Errol Arnaud and Helen Mackie

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2022 St. Bernard Ave. on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 11:00 am. Rosary will begin at 10:00 am. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am. Interment: Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Repast COVID Restriction: COVID- 19 CDC guidelines in full adherents.
