Rhonda was born Jan 1st, 1957 in Fairfield, Il to Albert (Ab) & Juanita (Miller-Matthews) Fleming. She was the New Year's baby for 1957. She married Terry A. Owen January 31, 1975 at First Christian Church in Fairfield, IL.
Rhonda was a Registered Nurse & poured her heart & soul into taking care of others. Rhonda worked in several aspects of nursing from bringing life into the world to holding a hand as they passed from life. She dedicated her life to helping the ones that were in need. Whether it being at her job in nursing or helping a friend or stranger in need. She did not know the word NO & was always willing to help anyone out with anything. Anyone that ever met her, knew she had a big heart. She is still helping people in her death as she donated her body to medical science so future medical professionals can hone their craft to help more patients.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert (Ab) & Juanita Fleming & one brother, Donald E. Fleming.
Rhonda loved fiercely and deeply and we take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace surrounded by light.
A remembrance of life celebration will be held at the First Christian Church in Fairfield, IL on Saturday March 12th. Visitation will be from 10am-12pm with a service to follow. All are invited to attend.
