COMANCHE, Nov. 11 -- Ewalt Boone, 73, Stephens county rancher and well-known figure among state cattlemen, died suddenly late Thursday at his home in Comanche following a heart attack.
Boydston funeral home, Comanche, will announce services Friday.
One of the state's most prominent cattlemen, Boone was born June 18, 1875, in Henryetta, Texas. He moved to Comanche in 1906.
Survivors include his wife, Cora Boone, and a son, Leo, both of Comanche, and two sisters, Ethel Boone, Addington, and Mrs. L. B. Rose, Dallas.
