Susan L. Rodriguez, 58, of Streator, passed away at 1:10 a.m. Friday Jan. 22, 2016 at her home.
A Celebration of Sue's Life will be at 12 noon Wednesday Jan. 27, 2016 at the Elias Funeral Home. Rev. Fr. Jacob Rose will officiate. A visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Elias Funeral Home.
Sue was born October 4, 1957 in Morris, IL, she was the daughter of William and Natalie (Higgins) Slagle. She married John Rodriguez on May 30, 2014 in Ottawa, IL.
She is survived by her husband: John of Streator, her mother: Natalie; son: Russell (Angie) Delehanty of Marseilles; grandchildren: Adlei Delehanty, Autumn Miller, Gage Miller and Keaton Oswald; step-daughters: Kristi, Kari and Kelsi Rodriguez, all of Streator; brothers: Bill and David Slagle of AZ; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father and a sister Kathrine Smith.
Sue graduated from Morris High School and attended I.V.C.C., she worked at Streator Unlimited as a Direct Staff Person.
Sue loved spending time with her family and was a avid dart player.
