Danny G. Cross of Oxford, OH went home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 28, 2022. Danny was born March 22, 1952 in Richmond, IN to Kenneth L. and Judy (Kadle) Cross. He lived around Oxford all his life. He graduated from Talawanda High School in 1970. Danny graduated from Miami University with a Bachelor of Science in Education in 1975. He taught in Preble County Schools, Hamilton City, Middletown, and Union County Schools. Danny worked at the family owned Sohio Gas Station for many years. In the fall of 1995 he started working at Pierson Hall, Miami University as a Master Science Store Specialist. Danny enjoyed being with his family at gatherings and holidays. He was a faithful member of Oxford Presbyterian Church for over 50 years and served as a Deacon and an Elder. He was good hearted, genuine, and had a love for helping those less fortunate. He is survived by his Loving brother Darrell (Annette) L. Cross of Oxford, and loving sister, Debbie (Douglas) M. Farris of Chandler, AZ; three nieces and nephews Angie (Bill) M. Adams of Morning Sun, Aran (Sooyon) L. Cross of Campbell, CA, and Anne (Nilesh Shah) L. Cross of Pittsburgh, PA; five dearly loved great nieces and nephews, Chelsea (Justin) Allen, Billy Adams, Natalie Cross, Austin Cross, and Arvin Shah; and one great-great nephew Christopher-Jason Allen; his lifelong friend, Christopher Jones and his children, JC, Christian, Luke, Barbara Jean, and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth L. Cross; his mother, Junibell "Judy" Cross; his nephew, Christopher Farris; his grandparents; two uncles, Melvin Kadle, and Homer Kadle; three aunts, Dorothy Heitfield, Alta Kadle, and Margie Henry. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022 from 11:00 AM until time of funeral service at 12:00 Noon at Rose Hill Funeral Home 2565 Princeton Road Hamilton, OH 45011. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Oxford Presbyterian Church with Pastor Lawrence Bartel officiating.
