Delena Adkins

Delena Hobbs Adkins, 88, of Spring Arbor, Mich., formerly of Pike County, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2007, at Arbor Manor Care Center.

She was born in Pike County, Nov. 30, 1919, the daughter of the late Noah Hobbs and Annie Hobbs Marshalette.

She was a courthouse concessions operator for 16 years and a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church.

She was preceded in death by one son, Bobby Justice; and one brother, Leon Hobbs.

She is survived by four sons, James Justice and Billy Gene Justice, both of Leigh Acres, Fla., Allen Dean Justice of Netherlands, Donnie Justice of Lincoln Park, Mich.; two brothers, Devon Hobbs of Westland, Mich., and Coney Hobbs of Pikeville; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, in the J.W. Call & Son Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Johnson Memorial Park, Pikeville. Arrangements were under direction of J.W. Call & Son Funeral Home of Pikeville.
