Obituary for MRS. BETTY LOU ADAMS
Funeral service for Mrs. Betty Lou Adams will be held 2 PM Saturday, March 5, 2022, at White Oak Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Wells and Rev. John E. Stephens officiating. Interment will be in White Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Friday, March 4, 2022, and 8 AM – 12 PM Saturday, March 5, 2022, at John E. Stephens Chapel. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church. John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge.
Mrs. Adams, 83, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2022, in Philadelphia, MS. She lived most of her life in the Edinburg community. She was a member of White Oak Baptist Church. She worked at Walmart in health and beauty. Her hobbies were gardening, crocheting and quilting. Her favorite hobby was spending time with ALL her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Elton F. Adams; parents. Roger L. Kea and Gertha Beatrice Fryery Kea; sister, Mae Greenlee; brothers, Orville and Tommy Kea; nieces, Vickie Kea, Gina Kea, Brittany Bane, Kathy Dearing; great-great-grandson, Cooper Anderson Moore.
Survivors include daughters, Pamela Quick (Milton) of Carthage, Patty Wilcher of Brandon; "adopted daughter", Vicki Burton of Brandon; son, Craig Adams (Stephanie) of Edinburg; sisters, Linda Bane of Philadelphia; brother, Pug Kea (Marie) of Philadelphia; (7) grandchildren; (12) great-grandchildren; (2) great-great- grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers: Ryan Quick, Joe Roger, Josh Quick, Dustin Brown, Jeremy Moore, David Watson, Adam "Jack" Brown, Dennis Wilcher.
Honorary Pallbearers: Pug Kea, Ronnie Jenkins, Edsel Adams, Todd Verry, Michael Bane.
