Outdoor portrait of NX137333 (N5219) Private (Pte) James Gerald Joseph Doyle, 2/10 Battalion, of Bungendore, NSW. A farmer prior to enlistment from Mount Fairy, Cooma Line, NSW on 22 November 1942. Pte Doyle was killed in action in New Guinea on 22 January 1944, aged 25. He is buried at the Lae War Cemetery, Papua New Guinea.
