After his death, Susanna married Oscar J Strope, first in Kingsville, Essex, Ontario, Canada on August 18, 1909 and, again, on August 25, 1909 in Detroit, Michigan. After his death, Susanna married William H Whitbeck (also spelled Witbeck) in Cleveland, Ohio on August 30, 1915. They divorced in Michigan on October 2, 1917. She went on to marry her last husband, Ralph Hazelton Brown, in Alma, Michigan on August 12, 1919.
ALGONAC -- Funeral services for Mrs. Susanna Brown, 86, of 406 Broadway Street, Marine City, who was fatally injured in a traffic accident Monday, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
Rev. Eugene Beavers, pastor of St. Clair River Drive Church of Christ, will officiate.
Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.
The remains are in the funeral home.
Mrs. Brown was born Nov. 3, 1882, in Algonac.
She is survived by a son, Charles Brown, who is with the U.S. Army in Phoenix, Ariz.; a brother, Dewey Pemberton, Algonac, and a grandson.
