Mary Anne (Sawyers) Britton, 88, went to be with her Lord on Friday February 25, 2022. She was born in Albany, KY on March 14, 1933, the daughter of the late Charles E. and Pauline Hay Sawyers.
She was proceeded in death by her husband of 60 years, Robert Harold Britton, brothers, Richard "Dickie" Sawyers and Fredrick "Fred" Sawyers, sisters, Virginia Sawyers LaCaillade, Betty Sawyers Cross Riddle, and Shirley Sawyers Aebersold and a nephew Michael Aebersold.
She was retired from the Louisville Water Company and a member of Grace Community Church. She was currently residing in Conway, Arkansas but she and her late husband lived in Louisville, KY all of their married life for over 60 years.
She is survived by her children, Kent (Debbie) Britton of Conway, AR, and Carol (John) VanderMeer of Cincinnati, OH. Grandchildren, Ryan (Penni) Britton, Sarah Britton, Chase (Anja) VanderMeer, Jenna (Kyle) Chambers, Sydney VanderMeer, Ella VanderMeer. Great Grandchildren, Bella Britton, Crosby Britton, Olivia VanderMeer, and Sadie Goss; sisters, Margaret Harbin, Gaye (Lynn) Campbell, and Charlene Bolton and many loving nieces and nephews.
