Mona was born on November 2, 1957 in Livingston to Algie Lee and Wanda Lee (Robison) Kilgore and went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 23, 2022.
Mona attended Diboll High School and graduated in 1976. She was a member of the Church by Christ Jesus in Wells. She was also a member of the Diboll Alumni Association. She married her best friend, Fox Adams on May 25, 1985. She was employed by Diboll ISD as a teacher's aide and retired in 2015 after 30 years of service.
Mona never had any children of her own, but she loved her nieces and nephews as if they were hers. She was known as "Fayfe" by them and carried the title proudly. Mona enjoyed hunting and spending time at the deer camp with Fox. She also enjoyed singing and watching old westerns. She collected snow globes and looked forward to adding a new one to the collection each year. She had a heart of gold and will truly be missed.
