Professional Football Player. He was a professional football player that was drafted in the 1984 NFL draft in round 5 as pick 118 out of Auburn as a running back by the San Diego Chargers, where he played his complete NFL career from 1984 until 1988. His best year as a pro came during the 1985 season when he set the then-NFL season records for receiving yards by a running back and all-purpose yardage. In his professional career he played in 62 games of which he started in 22 of them and made 10 receiving and 4 rushing touchdowns. During his play time at Auburn University he played with the great Bo Jackson. He was part of the 1983 Southeast Conference champion and Sugar Bowl champion team. He was inducted into the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame in 2006.
