In his professional career he played in 62 games of which he started in 22 of them and made 10 receiving and 4 rushing touchdowns. During his play time at Auburn University he played with the great Bo Jackson. He was part of the 1983 Southeast Conference champion and Sugar Bowl champion team. He was inducted into the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame in 2006.
