Mrs. Ida Migliario

TOPEKA – Mrs. Ida Rigney Migliario, 72, died Tuesday night at a Topeka hospital. She is a former home economics instructor at Kansas State University and former editor of Household magazine.
Mrs. Migliario was born June 8, 1888 in Zeandale and was raised in Manhattan. She received her BS in home economics at Kansas State in 1909. She taught at Kansas State from 1912 to 1916. Besides editing Household magazine, she also was on the Capper Farm magazine staff. Mrs. Migliario retired in 1960.
She was a member of Omicron Nu, Theta Sigma Phi, and Phi Kappa Phi, all honorary fraternities.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Migliario, who died in 1918.
Mrs. Migliario is survived by a sister-in-law, Mrs. Alvin Rigney, Pasadena, Calif.; three nieces; and two nephews. She was living with Mrs. Dorothy Watson in Topeka.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday afternoon at the Wall-Diffenderfer Funeral Home in Topeka with burial being in the Topeka Cemetery.
