Born in Cleveland County, on December 25, 1946, he was a son of the late Paul Walker and Ollie Mae Dyer Walker. He was retired form carpet and flooring installation. Dennis was a member of Northside Baptist Church and the Dixie Rodders Car Club. He also served in the US Army.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother Joe Walker.
He is survived by his three children, Shannon, Joshua and Denise; and grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with the Mr. Thomas Mode officiating.
