At 10:37 p.m. tonight our beloved Mama (Clara) Kilby peacefully entered the gates of Heaven at 98 years old. Mama was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. At the young age of 12 Mama became the caregiver to her infant sister and young brothers. She was always caring for family, friends, strangers and pets. We learned lessons of how to take care of and serve others by watching her as she lived her daily life. Mama will be remembered for living a simple life of contentment, which is a rarity today. Her courage, strength and stamina will always be revered by those who knew her. We can only strive to be as strong and caring as she was. We already miss you but celebrate that you are reunited in heaven with loved ones and our Lord Jesus Christ. We love you Mama!!
