James loved to visit with family and friends, especially his grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He particularly enjoyed ranching. He loved working with the horses and cows. He was a member and past local president of the East Texas Branch of Beefmaster Breeders United.
Mr. Bowman is preceded in death by his wife, Mollie Bowman, father, William Jefferson Bowman, Sr., and mother, Billie Jo Bowman.
The family will welcome visitors beginning Friday, February 18, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until graveside service time at 12:00 p.m. at the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Trinity, Texas. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Trinity.
