Death of Mansel E. Morrison
The death of Mr. Morrison, which occurred on Friday night last, November 19th at his home near Emmorton, was not unexpected by his friends, as he had been suffering for months past with an incurable disease. The interment took place on Monday at the Friends burial ground, Fallston, of which society Mr. Morrison was by birthright a member. His funeral was attended by his relatives and a large number of sympathizing friends, who tenderly laid to rest the kindly honest gentleman whose face they shall see no more in life. He was in the 63th year of his age. No words of ours can add a single ray of lustre to the many virtues that adorned his life.-- In him a quiet and unassuming deportment were united with the most elevated traits of character, which won him the highest respect and affection of all who knew him. His ear was ever open to hear and his hand ever ready to respond to the appeal for charity and help. He will be missed from his customary walks in life as few men are missed, but he leaves behind him a memory fragrant with good deeds.
