Born February 13, 1930, in Mountain Lake, VA she was a daughter of the late Homer and Geraldine Smith Meredith.
Claudine is preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Albert Kessinger and Alma Martin; children, Gloria Scott, Yvonne McCoy, and Debra Adeoti; and siblings, Olin Meredith, Teddy Meredith, Edna Waters, Sylvia Meredith, David Meredith, and Homer Meredith.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Derhonda Cline (Robert) of Woodstock, VA; grandchildren, Lorie McCoy, John Meadows, Eric Scott, Blake McCoy, Kehinde Adeoti, Ty Adeoti, Gabrielle Adeoti, Torry Cline, and Heath Cline; four great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Beverly Meredith (Linda); and sisters, Dorothy Akers, Anna Sue Thomas, Talmadge Packard (Bob), Coretta Babcock, and Demetria Ward.
There will be a funeral service conducted on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at 2:00 PM at the Pembroke Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, with Bishop Mark Bunker presiding and eulogy given by Robert Cline. Dedication of the grave will follow in the Martin/Meredith Cemetery in Pembroke, VA. The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday, February 16, 2022, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. The staff of Kendall Funeral Home are honored to serve the Martin family.
