Edna Quoos Tkatch, 94, of Ridge Street, Glen Lyon, died Tuesday at the Hospice Community Care Unit of Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre.

Born Feb. 2, 1909, in Nanticoke, she was a daughter of the late August and Minnie Wermuth. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ and its Home Department, Nanticoke.

Surviving are her husband, Peter; sons, Howard Quoos, Nanticoke; Donald Quoos, Laurence Harbor, N.J.; daughter, Janet Gensel, Shickshinny; 21 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Lena Kawecki, Nanticoke; and Helen Gress, Trumbull, Conn.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday from the Earl W. Lohman Funeral Home, 14 W. Green St., Nanticoke, with the Rev. Barry Lohman officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Community Care, 385 Wyoming Ave., Kingston.
