Early Life: Max was born November 18, 1949, in Payson, Utah, to Lynn Earl Page and Verdene Ellsworth Page. He graduated from Payson High School in 1968, lettered in six different sports, and won All-State as a tackle on the football team. He played football at Brigham Young University and graduated with a master's in public administration in 1975.
Life's Work | Service | Interests: Max started his gaming career with Summa Corporation in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 1975. A year later, he moved to Reno and was named the personnel manager for Harold's Club. In 1985, Max, along with partners, formed the Lincoln Management Group and purchased the Fitzgerald's Hotel and Casino and other properties. Max went on to shape gaming in Nevada by placing people first.
❦ On December 20, 1992, He married Sandra Marie "Sandy" Bettencourt. She was the love of his life and best friend. Max loved his family and golf, in that order. Max was a golf fanatic! Sandy and he traveled the world to play golf. Their favorite course was Old Head Golf Links, County Cork, Ireland.
❦ Max loved Reno and worked tirelessly to strengthen the community. He provided leadership to the annual St. Patrick's Day celebration, Hot August Nights, Downtown Improvement and Revitalization, Reno Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority, and more. Max Lynn Page died peacefully at his home in Reno, Nevada, on February 6, 2022. He was 72.

Survived By: His wife, Sandra; his three children: Tyler Lynn Page (Damianne), Shayna Page Louk (Jeremy), and Samuel McKay Page (Malinda); and his nine grandchildren: Isaiah, Julius, Moses, Trejan, Daxton, Shayla, Chloe, Tallen, and Michael.
