In Colorado Springs, November 9, 1876, Mrs. Sena Martin, aged 34 years and 10 months.
Mrs. Martin, whose maiden name was Nuc_a_s, was born in the State of Virgina, January 9, 1942. On the 18th of April, 1861, she was married to Mr. D.J. Martin, in Brownsville, Nebraska. Mr. and Mrs. Martin came to Colorado and settled in Central City, where Mr. Martin went into the dry goods business, August 1, 1861. The remained in Central until January, 1866, when they moved to Denver, where Mr. Martin was in business until June, 1874; an the 10th of which month Mrs. Martin came to Colorado. Mr. Martin following on th 20th of the same month, since which time this has been their home. Mrs. Martin has ever been a stay mainstay and helper of her husband, and a careful guardian of the physical and moral health of her children, of whom there are four - three boys and one girl. In her death the husband and children have sustained the severest affliction that could be a_ them, and the sympathy of the entire community goes out to the bereaved in their sore trial.
