Mrs. Margaret McDermott Brown Dies; Rites Here
Funeral services for Mrs. Mar- garet (McDermott) Brown will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Myers Chapel. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. The body will lie in state at Myers Chapel where friends may call after 4:00 p. m. Sunday. Mrs. Brown a former Mt. Vernon resident, died Thursday at her home in Dalhart, Texas. She was the daughter of James R. and Martha (Stitch) McDermott. She was married to Emmett Brown, who survives. Other survivors include two Bons, Gaylord Brown of Mt. Vernon and Murray Brown, stationed with the U. S. Air Force in Germany; a daughter, Mrs. Hilda Kosh of St. Louis: and a brother, Joe McDermott of this city.
