Lori Lynn (Allen) Mason, 51, of Minonk, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.
She was born October 27, 1970 in Bloomington, IL to Frederick and Frances (Brooks) Allen.
Surviving are her son: Andrew (Payton Faulk) Mason of Minonk; her mother: Frances Allen of Minonk; brother: Heath (Jean) Allen of Dana; sisters: Louise (Steve) Boyar of Minonk and Jennifer Tooley of Rutland; her boyfriend: Chuck Richard of Gridley; his daughter: Amber (Adam Carey) Richard of Gridley; and his two grandchildren: Jazmine and Alivia. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father; brother-in-law: Adam Kingen; and very special friends: Slim and Rosalie Kirkman.
Lori worked at the Baby Fold in Normal for 27 years. She was the supervisor of support services. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed concerts and car shows and always dreamt of the beach. She absolutely adored her son: Andrew; he was her pride and joy. She enjoyed every day of watching him grow up. She never missed any of his school activities, and as he grew up and started playing sports until graduating high school, she never missed one game and was always his biggest supporter.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 13, 2022 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Minonk. Visitation will conclude with a short prayer at 4 p.m. Cremation will be accorded.
