George H. Hicks was a locally famous and popular minister in Meade, Hardin, and Nelson Counties, Kentucky. Over his career, Rev. Hicks was the minister of 21 different churches, a one point 6 at the same time. He Baptized more than 1,500 people and married 250 couples. Amazingly, Rev. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Church of the Nazarene, of which he had been a devoted member since childhood. The Rev. Kenneth Smith, pastor, will officiate and burial will be made in Lakeside cemetery by the Wilson mortuary.
