has always been informed & believes she is the third child of her said
parents, that this deponent was married in 1806 & that [her] eldest child
was born in 1806. COMMENT: Date of birth is suspect, as her elder two
siblings were born in 1785 & 1786, more likely she was born in 1788. Also
in this file is a statement on Jun 12, 1849, by a David Wing that he'd
known Heman Adams, and that Asenath Smith was his daughter, and she being
of more than 60 years of age (puts birth before 1789).
