Betty J. Adams, 99, of East Peoria, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. She was born on September 17, 1922 in El Paso, a daughter of Joseph E. and Marie G. (Harvey) Blumb. She married David L. Adams on December 31, 1943 in Helena, MT. He preceded her in death on June 15, 1988 in East Peoria.

Betty was also preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her three children, David (Jackie) Adams, Gregg (Jan) Adams and Donna Brown, all of East Peoria.

Betty graduated from Woodruff High School in 1939 and joined the United States Air Force in 1943 to support the WWII efforts in photography. She was a proud veteran.

She worked in photography for many years following WWII. Betty finished her working career at Sears, Roebuck and Company in Peoria.

Betty was a lifetime member of the East Peoria VFW Lodge #2078. She loved to play Bunco and touring the country with her friends.

Interment will be in Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
