Susan Eastwood Rudd 53 of Ft. Myers, Florida passed away in her home, on Thursday March 28th, 2013. Born and raised in Lexington, KY, Susan was the daughter of the late Robert William Rudd and Betty MacGregor Rudd. She graduated from Henry Clay High School in 1977 and attended University of Kentucky, where she was a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority. She transferred to Murray State University in 1978 and graduated with a BS degree in Rehabilitation. She worked in physical rehabilitation, specializing in elder care. She had a heart full of compassion, loved nature and was a deeply spiritual and religious person. She was dearly loved and she will be greatly missed.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her life partner John Reynolds, Ft. Myers, FL; twin sister Sally (John) Rudd Lambert, Sugar Land, TX; her brother, Robert (Bobbi Lynne) W. Rudd Jr., Grand Rapids, MI; her niece, Jessica Lambert, twin nephews Jeff and Jason Rudd and her step mother, Martha C. Rudd.
Susan will be honored by loved ones during a celebration ceremony in late June, when her ashes will be interred with her parents in the Lexington Cemetery.
