Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by: her spouse, Carey Leroy Arnold; a son, Gary N. Arnold; and two sisters, Jenny Thompson and Sue Collins. She is survived by: a son, Carey (Lisa) Arnold, Jr.; four daughters, Terri Arnold, Rebecca Arnold, Beverly (Timmy Roland) Arnold and Lori D. (Anthony) Chestnut; two sisters, Myra McGee and Flora North; eight grandchildren, Carl Smith, III, Carey Mathew "Slim" (Amelia) Arnold, Nathan Arnold, Dylan (Angie) Smith, Jephari Chestnut, Owen Chestnut, Ava Chestnut and Quinton Chestnut; and several great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 8, at Ware Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Brother Kevin Strausbaugh will be officiating. Burial will be at Battle Grove Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Bluegrass Care Navigators, 1317 US Highway 62 East, Cynthiana, Kentucky 41031.
