Marion "Ken" Nielson loving husband, father, grand & great grandfather, brother and friend was reunited with Heavenly Father on December 27, 2007 in West Valley City, UT.
He was born January 1, 1934 in Mt. Pleasant, Utah to Kent and Alice Larsen Nielson. Retired CMSgt, 36 years with the Utah Air National Guard. He was highly decorated and received many awards to include the Minute Man. Ken was greatly loved, admired and respected by everyone who met him. He was an avid gold miner, fisherman and loved the desert mountains. The sparkle of his eyes were his grandchildren & great grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Joni; his siblings, Bob & Elaine; his children, Rhonda (Jeff), Scott (Angie), Donna Tresp; nephews, Kelly (Spring), Kenny; grandchildren, Jenny, Jessie; great-grandchildren, Jaden & Ashlynn. He will be greatly missed. "We love you very much"
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at 12:00 noon at Rasmussen Mortuary (96 N 100 W) in Mt. Pleasant, UT. Friends may call Wednesday from 11:00-11:45 a.m. prior to Services at the Mortuary.
Interment in the Mt. Pleasant City Cemetery.
