David Reneau
LUMINARY — David Reneau, 87, of Luminary and formerly of Ooltewah, passed away Thursday, April 15, 2021, in Dayton. He was born in Chattanooga on Jan. 14, 1934 the son of the late Jesse and Parthenia (Hill) Reneau.

He was also preceded in death by his wife Julie Reneau, his sister Ruth Swafford, and his three brothers, Paul Reneau, John Reneau and James Reneau.

David was a graduate of Ooltewah High School and had been employed as a carpenter and cabinet maker. He served his country with the U.S. Navy and was an avid fisherman. He was a member of the Frostbite House of Prayer in Luminary.

He is survived by his two sons; three sisters, along with his two granddaughters.

Funeral services for David will be held Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 1 p.m. at the Frostbite House of Prayer in Luminary with Rev. Paul Daniels officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Reneau Family Cemetery.
