Mr. Casstevens was born on September 6.1948 in Yadkin County to the late J.E. Casstevens and Alice Ashburn Casstevens.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his beloved wife Margaret Casstevens and two sisters Mary Walker and Bertha Barber.
Those left to cherish his memory are a son Timothy (Glenda) Casstevens of Jonesville; two daughters Leann (Jamie) Ashley and Lisa (Gary) Anderson both of Jonesville; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; six brothers Ed (Freda) Casstevens, Ernest (Kathy) Casstevens, Gene (Linda) Casstevens, Ralph (Carole) Casstevens, Dwight (Pat) Casstevens, and Aubrey Casstevens; and two sisters Mae Dixon and Audrey (TJ) Mayes.
A graveside service for Mr. Casstevens will be held on Monday February 7, 2022 at 2pm at Beulahland Non-Denominational Church.
