Sandra A. "Sandy" Spangler, 77, of Spring Grove, entered into God's eternal care on Monday, January 31, 2022 at her home.

Born on Monday, January 4, 1945 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Aaron D. and Mary C. Warner Rohrbaugh. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, William C. "Bill" Spangler, who died in 2019; a daughter, Angela Y. Sliker, who died in 2019; and four sisters, Virginia Sterner, Frances Forbes, June Church and Marlene Henry. Sandy was a 1963 graduate of South Western High School and was a lifetime member of St Jacob's (Stone) United Church of Christ where she was active in Sunday school. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and enjoyed being with her entire family.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda A. Spangler, of Spring Grove; three grandchildren, Whitney Geiman and her husband, Zachary, Zackary Strausbaugh and his wife, Ashley, all of York, and Levi Strausbaugh of Hanover; three great grandchildren, Zage and Lynken Geiman and Elliott Strausbaugh; a sister, Nancy Dickmyer, a brother, James Rohrbaugh and his wife, Becky; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be held at 3:00 P.M Saturday, February 5, 2022 at St. Jacob's (Stone) United Church of Christ with The Rev. Dr. Bruce P. Bouchard officiating. Burial will follow in Stone Church Cemetery.
