Ruth A. Taylor, 71, of Lewistown, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Born Aug. 2, 1950, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Ellsworth and Elsie (Hamilton) Ramsey. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sons, and a sister, Patsy Hoar.
Ruth is survived by her son, Alan Sunderland and wife Lori, of Lewistown; grandson, Curt Bratton and wife Stephanie, of Mount Union; sisters, Sandy Booher and husband Arthur, of Lewistown, and Wanda Peffer and companion Rusty Hesser, of McClure; and her special friend, Nancy Embich, of Lewistown.
She was an active member of The Owl's Club in Lewistown. In her free time, she enjoyed playing cards, watching professional wrestling and spending time with her family.
A graveside service in loving memory of Ruth will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 7, 2022, at Juniata Memorial Park, 9010 Hwy 522 South, Lewistown, PA 17044, with Rev. Richard Williams to officiate.
Arrangements have been entrusted to King-Barr Funeral Home LLC, 120 Logan St., Lewistown PA 17044.
