Deana M. (Henrichs) Sherman was born in Erickson, Nebraska to John and Wilma (Meese) Henrichs.

Deana grew up and attended school in Grand Island, Nebraska.

She met her loving husband, Norman Sherman during a blind date. They married January 1, 1952 and Deana moved to the Sherman farm where they lived and created many memories together for 70 years.

Deana lived a full life as a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Throughout her life she was a proud farm wife who worked alongside her husband in the field and kept books for the family business.

She was an income tax assistant for Fisher Insurance, earned her high school diploma in 1974, became manager of the cafeteria for Ravenna Public School, volunteered at her local precinct during elections and traveled Sherman County doing census.

Deana loved to garden, sew, crochet, tat, make Christmas ornaments. ballroom dance, cook, decorate cakes, and bird watch. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

Deana is survived by her beloved husband, Norman; her children, Sandi (Mike) Sherman-McNiff of Lincoln; Sheri Sherman-Jorgensen of Hazard; Dee Sherman Helton of Waco, TX; N.
