Clara Mae Bardwell, 72, of Cleveland, MS, passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Allegiance Specialty Hospital in Greenville, MS. Graveside services will be Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 3:00 pm in Lehrton Cemetery in Ruleville, MS, with visitation preceding from 2:00 pm until 2:45 pm at Williams and Lord Funeral Home of Ruleville.

Clara Mae was born on June 11, 1949 in Yalobusha County, MS, to the late Bessie Tutor and Anderson Woods. She resided in the Cleveland area for 27 years and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband of 21 years, Billy Bardwell.

She is survived by her daughter, Frances (Quade) Hutchinson of Booneville, MS; three sons, Clay (Krystal) Mullen of Paragould, AR, Robert Mullen of Cleveland, MS, and John (Rometria) Bardwell of Cleveland, MS; one sister, Rosalee Cook of Southaven, MS; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren, and one on the way.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
