Mrs. Cora Riekena
Mrs. Cora Riekena, 82, of Mapleton, died at 3;35 p.m. Tuesday at St. Francis Hospital where she was admitted Feb.21.
She was born July 5, 1881, in Limestone Township, the daughter of Hero and Gertje Lauterbach Kruse. She married Everet Riekena on Feb. 26,1902.
Surviving are her husband, 3 daughters, Mrs. Grace Uphoff and Mrs, Tena Pille, of Hanna City and Mrs. Frieda Riekena, of Chillicothe; four sons, Clarence Riekena, of Peoria, Harry Riekena, of Hanna City,Harvey Riekena, of Mapleton and Edward Riekena, of Bellevue; two brothers Harry Kruse of Lakefield, Minn. and Edward Kruse of Bartonville and 9 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Two sisters and four brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at St. Peters Lutheran Church in Glasford. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thrusday at Davidson Funeral Home.
