Robert G. Garrett, 83 of Roanoke went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 29, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary W. Garrett; daughter, Robin Artrip and son-in-law, Michael Hall.
Left to cherish his memories are his five children, Johnny Garrett, Tommy Garrett, Shirley Hall, Karen Clingenpeel (Mark), and Kathy Wilson (Brian); grandchildren, Mary Cole, Crystal, April, Tommy, Jessica, Violet, Robert, Mary, Elizabeth, Susan, Brittany, Autumn, Cortney, Jamie, Brian, Kristin, Marie, and Aaliyah; a number of great-grandchildren and a number of other family.
Funeral services will be conducted from the graveside, Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 2 pm Wednesday, February 2, 2022. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Oakey's North Chapel.
