Judy Darlene (May) Wright, 74, of Six Mile Run went to her eternal home with the Lord on January 27, 2022, at home from complications of Alzheimer's. Judy was born on December 6, 1947 in Todd, PA; a daughter of the late Harry W. and Mary R. (Cook) May. Judy is survived by husband of fifty-five years, A. Samuel Wright at home; two daughters Melissa M. Wright married to Kevin Miller, Saxton, PA and Pamela R. Wright of Six Mile Run, PA; three grandsons which she adored, Zane Samuel Bussard married to Morgan, Ithaca, NY; Joshua Steven Bussard married to Brea, Roaring Spring, PA and Jeremiah Wilson Reid married to Brittany of Pittsburgh and four great-grandchildren Lia, Emily and Lincoln Bussard and Spencer Reid; she was fondly referred to as "Auggie" by all her grandchildren. Judy is also survived by a sister Patricia May-Altobelli and two brothers Harry May, Jr. married to Eve and Brian D. May married to Diane; sister-in-law Lisa May and many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Charles May.

Judy was a 1965 graduate of Tussey Mountain High School and attended the Cumberland Business School. Judy was a member of the Broad Top Area Methodist Churches' where she played piano for over forty years. She belonged to the local Eastern Star Chapter and was a school bus driver for many years and a USPS Rural Letter carrier. She worked at the Bedford Springs in the Stables when they had the horses and also worked many years at Lake Raystown Resort before retiring. Judy was a ladies auxiliary member of the Six Mile Run American Legion Post 0556 and a member of the Tussey Mountain High School Board as well as the Six Mile Run Water Corp for numerous years and a trustee for the Duvall Cemetery Association for over twenty years and on the Coaldale Borough Council for over thirty years serving most of those years as president of the council.

Judy was hardworking and a person you could always count on and very community minded. She loved animals of all kinds' especially horses and also loved watching her grandsons growing up and playing various sports and going to the Outer Banks with her family on vacation. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date with interment to be at Duvall Cemetery, Six Mile Run at the family's discretion.

Memorial contributions in memory of Judy may be given to the Six Mile Run Volunteer Fire Company or a local animal shelter.
