Robert Parke Hart
October 30, 1950 ~ January 26, 2022 (age 71)
Robert Parke Hart, 71, of Downingtown, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at his home. Known to his friends and family as Bob, he was the beloved husband of Michelle Sannino Hart, with whom he shared 41 years of marriage.
Born in West Chester, he was the son of the late George and Elizabeth Parke Hart.
One of Bob's most admirable traits was the manner in which he pursued his interests – including building and working on computers, cars, his favorite sports teams, and following current events – chiefly in service of connecting with the people he loved. He had a curious mind and a keen sense of irony, and loved to share the things that intrigued or amused him with others. He developed a diverse and impressive array of skills and knowledge in his professional life, including through service in law enforcement and the operation of his own business as a master plumber. He ultimately leveraged his lifelong interest in technology and found his calling in information technology and computer networking. He loved seaside vacations, animals, and the quiet joy of a happy family gathering. Bob left this world a happy man and with his heart at peace, in the close company of the family he loved dearly.
In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by his sons, Rob Hart (Sara) and Dan Hart, and a large extended family. He was predeceased by his four brothers, George, Bill, Joe, and Steve, and by his two sisters, Pat and Judy.
Services will be held privately with the family, who request that attendees please wear a mask.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation
